Passive vertical garden for new railway station in Gran Canaria

Passive vertical garden for new railway station in Gran Canaria

Location: Gran Canaria (Canary Islands)

Petitioner: Ayesa

Year: 2011

In collaboration with the consultant engineer and architecture company AYESA, specifically with the building area, led by Daniel Herrera, and Architectural timarquitectos study, we have designed a passive vertical garden. The size of this garden is 100 m2 located in the interior of the future airport station in Gran Canaria on the railway line between Las Palmas and Maspalomas. The project consists of a curved canvas with a high vertical garden that is attached to the walls of the entrance hall to the exhibition of the season, playing a leading role in a sustainable and bioclimatic approach for this proposal.
